Annual Boys’ Recital
The
42nd
Annual
BCMTA
Boys
Recital
was
held
over
the
weekend.
We
had
such
a
great
turnout
with
a
total
of
35
boys
who
participated
for
an
audience
of
family
and
friends
from
the
studio
of
Amy
Morgan,
Tammy
Dennis,
Shannon
Hastings,
Lindsey
White,
Beverly
Talley,
Daniel
DeKonty,
Eric
Marrero,
and
Vincentine
Williams.
Dr.
Colin
Pang
was
a
special
guest
pianist
that
inspired
these
young
performers
by
talking
about
how
studying
music
equips
young
men
with
skills
to
lead
meaningful
lives.
Congratulations
to
all
of
the
performers.

Adult Musicale
Our
annual
Adult
Musicale
is
a
wonderful
event
where
adult
piano
students
come
together
and
share
their
experiences
and
perform
for
one
another.
It
is
a
wonderful
tradition
to
continue
as
more
and
more
adults
are interesting in beginning or continuing their lessons from childhood.

Masterclass
Baldwin
County
Music
Teachers
Association
hosted
a
Masterclass
for
local
students
at
Steinway
Piano
Gallery
in
Spanish
Fort.
International
Steinway
Artist
Dr.
Kadisha
Onalbayeva
was
born
in
Zhetisay,
Kazakhstan
and
began
her
musical
training
at
the
age
of
five.
She
is
the
first
pianist
from
Kazakhstan
to
be
named
a
Steinway
Artist.
Dr.
Onalbayeva
worked
with
students
of
Daniel
DeKonty,
Dr.
Colin
Pang
and
Beverly
Talley.
It
was
a
great
opportunity
for
these
students
to
work
on
their
repertoire
and
included
works
from
Beethoven,
Chopin
and
Mozart.
We
are
thankful
for
Dr.
Onalbayeva's
work
with
the
local
students
here in Baldwin County.

experience
where
we
enjoyed
hearing
our
talented
students
who
performed
for
their
families
and
friends
on
piano,
guitar,
harp,
and
voice
as
well.
It
was held on October 22, 2022. It was held at Baldwin County Youth Orchestra Hall in Fairhope.
